On July 13, 2012, Sylvester Stallone’s son, Sage Moonblood Stallone, age 36, was found dead in his Hollywood apartment.
Sage Moonblood Stallone was allegedly home alone on July 13, 2012, when an unidentified friend came to visit. Stallone failed to answer the door. The friend contacted the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), who performed a welfare check. When the LAPD entered the residence, Stallone was found unconscious. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There have been reports that the cause of death may be a result of an overdose of unidentified pills. However, the official cause of death, as determined by the coroner’s office is pending.
Stallone’s attorney confirmed his death.
“I have just gotten a report that he was found dead at his home. He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects. He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. Sage Moonblood Stallone, was born on May 5, 1976, to Sasha Czack and Sylvester Stallone. His parents were married in 1974, but later divorced in 1985. He is the brother of Seargeoh Stallone (who suffers from Autism), and half-brother of Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet Stallone. His half-siblings are the product of Sylvester Stallone’s third marriage to former model, Jennifer Flavin. He also has another step-mother, Brigitte Nielsen, Sylvester Stallone’s second wife.

Stallone grew up amongst a family of actors/entertainment professionals: his father, Sylvester Stallone (birth name: Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone)(actor and director); his mother, Sasha Czack (birth name: Alexandra Jane Czack) (photographer and co-writer of “Rocky”); his uncle Frank Stallone (actor and singer); his grandmother, Jackie Stallone (astrologer, actress, dancer and promoter of women’s wresting); his stepmother, Brigitte Nielsen (model and actress); his stepmother, Jennifer Flavin (model); and his godfather, Joe Spinell (actor).
He had several roles playing alongside his father, Sylvester Stallone, specifically in “Rocky” and “Rocky V”. Stallone later went on to co-found the Grindhouse Releasing, a company dedicated to the restoration and preservation of exploitation of films, with film editor Bob Murawski. An LAPD rep released a statement that there was no sign of foul play or criminal activity. The rep also provided information that the case has been handed over to the coroner for further investigation.
Updates will be provided upon receipt of the official cause of death, as determined by the coroner.
