Late musician Michael Jackson's sister, La Toya Jackson, is coming out next week with a new book entitled "Starting Over," in which she chronicles the events surrounding her brother's death.
The singer, "sheds new light on the dynamics of the Jackson family and discloses the truth behind the curtain of secrecy and intrigue that has surrounded her brother Michael and the rest of the Jackson children," a message on La Toya's website says. "She will explain her estrangement and her gradual reconciliation with one of America's most famous families."
La Toya also took to Twitter to spread the word about her memoir, tweeting June 9, "Every question about me you ever wanted answered, is in this book!"
The singer also writes about Michael's death, noting that she spoke with Michael's daughter Paris, who said that in the days before his death, he was "always cold" and would "always cry," according to the Associated Press.
La Toya also writes about her confrontation in the hospital with Dr. Conrad Murray, who has plead innocent to involuntary manslaughter. She alleges he gave her only "evasion and excuses," ABC News reports.
She adds that she searched Jackson's bedroom and found notes she believes were written by Michael indicating that he needed his father Joseph's help to get "these people out of my life" and that he "only agreed to 10 shows," ABC reports.
Originally only ten concerts were announced for his final tour, but when tickets sold out in less than an hour, 40 more shows were added, according to ABC News.
Brother Jermaine Jackson is also coming out with a memoir in September, the same month Murray's trial is set to begin.
"Starting Over" hits bookshelves on June 21, the same day La Toya's new EP record by the same name is released.
